Image Library Conditions Of Use

Please read and adhere to the following information before using any image from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography Image Library:

• Most images contained in the explorations photo gallery are available for use in print and electronic material by Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego employees and members of the media, university staff, and teachers with written permission from Scripps Oceanography..
• These images CANNOT be used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• To obtain a high-resolution version of any image in the library, please obtain an electronic request form from the Scripps Communications Office.
• Granting the right to use an image from the Scripps Image Library does not explicitly or implicitly convey Scripps's endorsement of the site or document in which it is used or the entity using it.
